Amy Riccardi, MEd
As our Chief People Officer and Founder, Amy hails from Houston, Texas and grew up as a NASA kid playing a range of varsity sports before landing at the University of North Texas as a Division I setter. As a natural leader, Amy has more than 25 years of experience as a management consultant and helps CEOs and executive teams reach their fullest potential. She is an expert facilitator who helps implement a proven yet simple set of management principles to help businesses meet today’s challenges and attain even greater success.
Amy brings extensive senior executive experience serving public and private companies, federal and state governments, associations, and non-profits. Her experiences focus on strategic human capital consulting, education & professional development, marketing, and communications for well-known organizations. Her passion is at the core of Leadership Evolution Group's philosophy that ‘We want employees to love Mondays as much as Fridays.”
For 20+ years, her consulting firm, Leadership Evolution Group, LLC’s focuses on a broad range of strategic consulting services including human capital consulting, learning, leadership development, workforce planning, and executive advisory work.
Amy has held Board positions with George Mason University’s School of Business (Women in Business Board) and s a trusted advisor to CEOs and executive teams across the globe. Her calm, strategic and visionary approach helps to create clarity and simplicity in otherwise hectic organizations.
She is a guest lecturer at Georgetown University and George Washington University on change management and human capital. She is also a published author on human capital topics and frequent industry speaker on the Future of Work, employee engagement, human capital topics, and women and leadership. Launched in 2019, her podcast, “The CEO Playbook to Create a Kick-Ass Culture” can be found on your favorite podcast platforms.

Amy resides outside of Washington, DC in Northern Virginia with her high school daughter (who also plays volleyball) and her college goalkeeper son and their Goldendoodle puppy, Gunnar. In her downtime she travels back to Texas, volunteers as a Leadership Trainer for her sorority, serves as an Operation Underground Railroad volunteer. She enjoys camping and the outdoors, and visits the vineyards in Virginia.
